Model license
Justice Engineering Model License, version 1.0. It applies to every digital model sold in this shop and replaces any draft terms included in earlier downloads.
The short version
Render it, animate it, put it in client work and commercial projects. Don't share or resell the files.
What you can do
When you buy a model, Justice Tooling Inc. (doing business as Justice Engineering) grants you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use and modify it. You may:
- Make personal and commercial renders, animation and video, and deliver them to clients. No credit is required.
- Use it in teaching, presentations and publications.
- Build it into a game, app, real-time viewer or other interactive project, as long as the model is part of the finished work and can't readily be pulled back out as a standalone file.
- Change it however you like for those uses.
What you can't do
- Share, sell, sublicense or give away the files, or modified versions of them, as files. That includes asset stores, marketplaces, file-sharing sites, public repositories, and asset or data collections.
- Give a client the source files. Deliver the finished work instead, or have the client buy their own license.
- Sell 3D prints or other physical copies made from the model.
- Claim you made the model, or suggest that Justice Engineering endorses your work.
Who it covers
One license covers one person. A business may buy a license for an employee; each person who opens or edits the source files needs their own license.
Trademarks and the real thing
Each model depicts an engine made by a vehicle manufacturer. This license covers the model, not the manufacturer's names, marks or designs, and Justice Engineering is not affiliated with or endorsed by any manufacturer. If your use needs rights from a manufacturer, getting them is up to you.
Dimensions are estimated. The models are visualizations, not manufacturer CAD, and must not be used for engineering, fitment, service or safety decisions.
Updates
Updates to an item you bought appear on your order page at no charge for as long as that item is sold.
No warranty
The model is provided as is, apart from what the refund policy offers. If you break these terms, the license ends and you must stop using and delete the files.
